This is an 2 part (2K) Urethane Aerosol Clear Coat. It has higher weather and U.V. resistance than most all aerosol clear coats on the market today. Contrary to conventional paint aerosols SprayMax uses an innovative nozzle technology in combination with a new propellent technology. SprayMax has more yield, faster workspeed, broader spray pattern than most conventional aerosols. The result: professional paint results like a spraygun, but without the disadvantages: no paint mixing, no cleaning of the spraygun, no thinner for cleaning, no compressor, less overspray. SprayMax - patented and only from KWASNY!

Salesman Notes: 2K SprayMax Urethane Aerosol Clear Coat works much like a conventional spraygun. It has high transfer efficiency, and great atomization.

How to Use: First shake for 2 minutes vigorously before activating.

To activate: Simple take the red button from the cap and attach it to the pin on the bottom of the can. Put the top of the can on stable ground and push the red button firmly and press the pin into the can. Shake again for two minutes to ensure activator is thoroughly mix with clear coat. After activated this product will last approx. 24 hours.

Product Characteristics: SprayMax 2 part Aerosol Clear Coat has excellent adhesion to basecoat and cured lacquer and enamel finishes .

Preparation: Allow basecoat paints at least 30 minutes dry time prior to using the 2K SprayMax Urethane Aerosol Clear Coat. Apply 2-3 coats of aerosol clear coat. Allow 5-10 minutes between coats. After allowing approximately 24 hours dry time, It may been polished by hand or machine.

BULLDOG ADHESION PROMOTER is designed to promote paint adhesion to all automotive surfaces even problem plastics. Bulldog Adhesion Promoter works equally well on all flexible or rigid plastics, fiberglass, aluminum, glass, chrome, vinyl, galvanized metal, and painted surfaces. Bulldog acts as a tie coat by allowing several different surfaces to be painted at the same time to assure a smooth, flawless, durable finish every time.

Directions for using Bulldog Adhesion Promoter:

For best results apply Bulldog Adhesion Promoter at a temperature above 60 degrees F and away from direct sunlight and strong breezes.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

For best results, first clean all areas to be painted with Klean-Strip PrepAll Wax & Grease Remover. Then, thoroughly clean with Bulldog Abrasive Cleaner. Rinse completely with water and let the part dry. When repairing peeling painted surfaces, all loose and peeling paint must be removed. To blend repaired areas with the original paint, sand the surface and the surrounding paint with 400 or finer grit sand paper until a smooth junction is attained. If the paint chips while sanding, it may be necessary to strip and repaint the entire part.

To Apply Bulldog Adhesion Promoter:

Shake gently for at least one minute to secure a uniform mixture. Looks hazy, dries clear. Hold can in upright position approximately 12 inches from surface. Point arrow on button away from you and spray the surface to be painted with an even, light mist coat. Wait 3 to 5 minutes and apply a second light coat. Use steady,even strokes while spraying. Do not apply a single heavy coat of Bulldog for it may run. If Bulldog runs, remove immediately with lacquer thinner and reapply as directed above. When doing spot repairs, be sure to apply Bulldog to the surrounding blend-out areas. Bulldog can be painted with any solvent based spray paints within 5 to 10 minutes. Solvent based paints can be applied by a brush over Bulldog when Bulldog is tack free (in about 15 to 20 minutes).

CLEANUP:
After each use of Bulldog Adhesion Promoter, clean spray valve by turning can upside down and spraying until only gas comes out. Discard empty can in trash pick-up. Do not burn, incinerate or place in home garbage compactor. All tools should be cleaned immediately with lacquer thinner. Care should be taken to keep from exposing freshly painted surfaces to solvents.

Aluminum Bases are recommended for use with airbrush sizes 0.5mm or larger. A 0.3mm size airbrush may be used when thinned with Auto Air Reducer. Aluminum Bases cover quickly and often only 1 coat is needed. Apply Aluminum Base over a coat of Base Coat Sealer Dark to ensure the that they adhere properly to the surface. The 4000 Series Base Coat Sealers have better adhesion than the 4100 Series Aluminum Bases. Aluminum Bases are made with heavy metallic flakes and may require stirring in addition to thorough shaking prior to use.

Aluminum Bases do not have as strong of an adhesion as the other Auto Air Colors. They are best used for bases without a lot of masking and manipulation. Aluminum Bases need to be cured with heat prior to masking and build up must be avoided to prevent lifting. Substituting the Aluminum Bases with the 4332 Metallic Silver may be desired if heat curing cannot be done or if masking causes lifting. Aluminum Bases do make an excellent base for the Candy Colors but can be difficult to work with if all steps are not followed.

Applying a coat of the 4004 Transparent Extender or 4003 Reducer over the Aluminum Base after it has cured prior to masking does help prevent possible lifting during masking. Apply a thin coat of the Transparent Extender or Reducer then cure with heat. The Transparent Extender and Reducer will dry clear and act as a protective barrier between the Aluminum Base and tape or masking film. Another way to prevent lifting of the Aluminum Base during masking is to apply a coat of a urethane intercoat clear onto the Aluminum Base after curing. Like all urethanes, intercoat clears work well with Auto Air Colors.
