Kleanstrip Rust Converter turns to a sandable, paintable black primer. RustAid Rust Converter inhibits further corrosion and can be used with plastic body filler. For use on all iron and steel surfaces. RustAid Rust Converter forms a vapor barrier against moisture to help prevent re-rusting.

Instructions for Using Rust Aid Rust Converter:

Remove loose rust and scale with a coarse grit sand paper (i.e. 50 grit) Clean off any grease, dirt, or oil from the surface using Auto Prep.
Shake RustAid Rust Converter well before using. Hold in an upright position 8-10 inches from the surface and spray in 2-3 light even coats allowing 5 minutes flash time between each coat of Rust Converter.
Allow the last coat of RustAid Rust Converter to turn the rust to black primer and dry for 24 hours before sanding and painting.
