Description

3M 05556, 6" Stikit Low Profile Backing Pad

The 3M 5556 is a replacement backing pad for Dual Action sanders (D.A.) that has a vinyl face for attaching PSA (Self Adhesive) sanding discs. It is a thinner low profile pad that provides better edge support for block sanding. Lightweight, sands flat.

Works great for marine refinishers for sanding under rub rails, toe rails, along chines and rudder posts. Low profile pads are typically used with courser grits such as 36, 40, 60, 80, and 100 grit.
