Description

U-Pol 0789, #2 Weld Thru Zinc Rich Primer

The U-Pol 0789 #2 Weld Thru Zinc Rich Primer is a fast drying, zinc rich, weldable primer that has excellent conductivity and excellent adhesion on metal surfaces. This weld thru primer can be used with Spot, Tig, or Mig welders. The U-Pol 0789 Weld Thru Primer is offered in a ready to use convenient aerosol can. The 450ml size is roughly equivalent to an 16 oz aerosol spraycan.

Instructions for Using U-Pol Weld Thru:

Sand area to be welded with P180-P240 sand paper.
Using a good quality grease and wax remover degrease the area to be coated.
Shake the U-Pol, 0789 Weld Thru Zinc Rich Primer for 2 minutes prior to spraying.
At approximately 10" from the panel, spray 1-2 coats allowing allowing 20 minute flash time between coats.

Salesman Note: The U-Pol Weld Thru Zinc Rich Primer is a very high quality weld thru coating to be used before you weld. This Weld Thru Coating is very economical and is not susceptible to clogging up as other brands do. This allows you to use all the product in the can. When you're not throwing away a can half full that saves you money!
