SEM Hot Rod Black Paint

SEM Hot Rod Black is a matte finish 2K single stage topcoat system that provides outstanding color holdout and superior mar resistance to create the ULTIMATE Satin Hot Rod Black custom look for paint accent stripes, hoods, louvers, or the entire vehicle. SEM Hot Rod Black will not chalk or fade and is VOC compliant for California.

Directions for Using SEM Hot Rod Black Paint:

Prime bare metal surfaces with an appropriate bare metal, corrosion resistant primer. For rough metal apply a primer surfacer to be sanded smooth before painting with Hot Rod Black Paint.
Sand according to primer manufacturer's recommendations.
Mix the Hot Rod Black Paint by volume (4) parts of Hot Rod Black - to (1) part of Hot Rod Reducer - to (1) part of Hot Rod Catalyst.
Spray Hot Rod Black Paint with a 1.3 - 1.4 MM fluid tip at approximately 7" from the surface. Apply 2 medium wet coats allowing 5-10 minutes between coats for flash time.
Allow the final coat of SEM Hot Rod Black paint to dry 16 hours before putting into use.
