Description 1994-2003 Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, & 3500 pickup truck door hinge pin and bushing repair kit. Designed to repair the damaged pin and bushings in one hinge.
Kit Includes:
(1) Hinge Pin
(2) Bushings
(1) Star Washer
(1) Spin Lock Nut
Instructions:
Removal:
Remove door from body. (Refer to appropriate service manual)
Grind or cut off the end of the pin at the peaned end.
Use a punch to remove the remaining pin.
Remove the old bushings.
Replacement:
Install the brass bushings into the two hinge holes. Both holes are the same diameter.
Place the star washer on the hex head end of the new pin.
Install the pin into the hinge hole and through the bushings.
