3M 39008, Headlight Lens Restoration System

A Plastic headlight lens can yellow with age, reducing headlight brightness, and new lenses can be expensive. The 3M 39008 Headlight Lens Restoration System lets you perform headlight restoration on all types of lenses, including headlights, taillights, fog and directional lights. Now you can produce professional results with the 3M 39008 Headlight Lens Restoration System and a household drill (1200-1600 rpm).

This kit was designed for the Do It Yourselfers in mind. Each headlight kit is intended to restore two headlight lenses. Large or extremely hazed lenses may require more than one kit to successfully perform a full headlight lens restoration.

Salesman Notes: 3M 39008 Headlight Lens Restoration System is great for do-it-yourself headlight lens restoration or any other plastic lenses on your vehicle. After taking a look at the contents of the kit it appears to me that some of the products could be used to repair minor paint defects such as chips and scratches without the expense of buy a whole box of each product individually.

I used this on the headlight lenses of a 2000 Dodge Intrepid w/140,000 miles on the odem. These were all Michigan miles with our wonderful winters here in the SW part of the state, plenty of of sand/salt on the roads. Intrepid HL lenses are BIG and these were BAD. The kit was easy to use and had plenty of materials for both lenses. I had unused sandpaper discs and polish left when I was done. It took about 30 min. to do both headlights and I mean to tell you, they came out just like NEW when I was done. It sure was easier and cheaper ( $140 ea. for salvage replacements) than replacing them. Highly recommended !!!!
