3M 06396, Automotive Adhesion Promoter Wipes

3M Adhesion Promoter 06396 is a liquid primer used for most low surface energy plastics. This would include common low surface energy plastics used for automotive dash and interior trim applications (TPO, PPO, PP, PC, PC + ABS, etc.). 25 Individual Packages per Box. 

Salesman Note:  A question I often get asked is: "Do I really need 06396 Adhesion Promotor for the attachment tape to stick?".  Answer:  Yes and No.  No, if you don't care if it falls off after a period of time. Yes, if you don't want to worry about the tape turning loose.  The tape turning loose is not the real problem.  It's the fact that you're taking a chance of loosing or destroying a high priced molding or emblem. Some moldings may cost as much as $200.00.  Sometimes cutting costs up front isn't economical in the long run.

I also get asked is rubbing alcohol the same things as this adhesion promotor? No,  this actually uses a type of plastic primer to soften the plastic enough for good adhesion to the molding or emblem and to plastic bumpers on the car. Don't cut corners to save pennies when it can cost you big dollars in the long term.
