I have had many people ask, " What is Hookit
II and how is it different from standard Velcro Paper?"
Hookit II is basically an attachment
system. It has to do with how the Abrasive paper attaches to the backing
pad. Hookit II attachment system works like this: The Stems (or hooks) are
attached to the sandpaper and the Loops (or fuzzy side) is on the front side of
the backing pad/accessory. We also call it Reverse paper because it's opposite
of all other manufacturers designs. 3M is currently using this design on their
Imperial Hookit and Trizact Abrasive Paper.
